FTDI driver installation #
If you are connecting a µFR Series device for the first time, you have to check if the FTDI drivers are installed on your system before running the executable software or SDK.
For Windows systems that do not have FTDI drivers, we recommend downloading the setup executable FTDI file, unpacking, and executing the drivers.
If you encounter any difficulties installing the drivers, please consult the Windows 10 Installation Guide.
uFR SDK/software launching #
Following the successful installation of the driver, you may select some of our executable software from the µFR NFC Tools Repository. All you have to do is download and unpack the desired project, navigate to the Windows folder, and run the program (we recommend testing the card reading and writing software for Windows OS available in the µFR MF Examples project.
You can choose from some of our SDK tools at NFC RFID Reader SDK if you’re about to develop a unique solution. Each of these projects comes with the required executable software and library. Each of these projects comes with the relevant executable software and library. The library might, however, not be present in all SDK projects. In that case, you can download the libraries from the µFR Lib project and then insert the appropriate DLL file into the software executable file’s folder.
