Android Apps
An Android app for reading and verifying the e-Passport NFC chips by either external µFR Series NFC Reader or NFC smartphone. The app verifies the NFC chip in the Machine Readable Travel Document (MRTD) using optically captured (OCR) information from the document’s Machine Readable Zone (MRZ). Instead of scanning the document, the MRZ data can be entered manually. Once the NFC chip is verified, the app displays document holders’ biometric data and document validity.
The app supports Digital Logic WiFi-enabled NFC Readers – uFR Nano Online. It detects the NFC devices as a network device and enables the basic commands sending. The communication can be established through HTTP, TCP and UDP protocol, BLE communication, reading card UID, and COM protocol commands.

The app sends an IMEI of the NFC-enabled device via NFC. The IMEI is used for time attendance and access control of Digital Logic systems. The IMEI behaves as a regular NFC card UID and if it is whitelisted, the NFC reader grants access.
