Utility Billing Software

Specifications

Users are provided a license to run Datalogic Utility Billing Software. The first year cost includes the Software Support Plan (SSP) and Customer Support Plan (CSP). These plans are optional beginning the second year.

First Year - Datalogic Utility Billing System – During the first year you should not have to be concerned about  problems related to your new system. With this in mind, the first year cost includes all support and training.

  • Software license for Datalogic Utility Billing System (UBS)   

  • License for Visual Dataflex.   

  • Backup software for CD/DVD (requires CD-R or DVD-R drive)  

  • Software Installation -  Installation and configuration of UBS software on your computer.   

  • Initial setup of your rate files.  

  • Formatting of your bill using our standard bill stock (post card with two stubs).  

  • Training at Datalogic and/or on-site training.  

  • Software Support Plan (SSP):  

    • Periodic program updates and enhancements as they become available  

    • Bug fixes  

    • Unlimited telephone support for suspected program problems   

    • Internet support for program updates  

  • Customer Support Plan (CSP):  

    • Unlimited on-site training as required for customers within 50 miles of Marion, IL. On-site support outside this area is available for an additional charge.  

    • Telephone support – Unlimited support for installation, training, and on-going support. Office, home, and cell phone numbers are provided to accommodate your work schedule.    

    • Internet support – If you have internet access, we can provide additional support and training directly from our office.   

  • Conversion (optional) – If you are currently billing by computer, it may be possible to transfer some of your existing billing information to the Datalogic Utility Billing System.  This will reduce the amount of data entry required to convert to the new system.  An analysis of your existing program will be necessary to provide a cost estimate for this service.

Year 2 (and Subsequent) – Beginning the second year, customers have the option to continue the Software Support Plan and Customer Support Plan. Datalogic will provide support at our standard rates for customers not electing the Customer Support Plan.
