Overview Datalogic was founded in 1983 when we contracted to develop a Utility Billing System for a local municipality. Since that time, we have continued to design software for municipal accounting, payroll, cemetery records, and revolving loans. Our software is designed specifically for the smaller entity. Undoubtedly the most important feature of our software is the personal attention and support we provide. Ask any of our customers…they all agree. Several versions of this program have been running in a number of installations for over 20 years. The program is easy to use and provides all the features desired by our customers. If we don't have a feature you require, we will consider adding it to our program. In most cases, there is no cost to do this since we include updates and enhancements to all of our customers. Our latest version of the program runs under the Windows operating system. The development of this version is ongoing which means new features and capabilities are constantly being made available. The Datalogic Software Support Plan provides for automatic updates as new features are available. The Windows version of UBS utilizes laser or ink-jet printers for printing of reports and utility bills. Bills are printed 3-up on blank card stock that is available from Datalogic. The bills include a postcard bill with a stub. A stub is also provided for in-house use. Cost of the bill card stock is considerably less than pre-printed bills. We consider support to be the most important feature of our software. Software installation and initial training is available on-site or in our office. Additional support is often provided on-site, but may be provided by telephone and the internet, too. You are encouraged to contact any of our existing customers to learn more about our support.
